Take Flight – Module 2 (Intermediate)

Deepen your NVC practice in this 6-week intermediate course

Dates: 7, 14, 21, 28  January, 4 & 11 February 2021

Times: Thursday evenings 20.00-22.45 South Africa time / 19.00-21.15 CET, Brussels time

These sessions are geared towards deepening NVC practice beyond our basic introductory workshop (or the Online Foundation course) and Module 1. The six sessions will be facilitated by CNVC certified trainer Nicholas Burnand. Participants will cover new theory & get an opportunity to practice their skills with other participants in break-out rooms.

In this module we will explore:

  •  Transforming enemy images
  •  3 choices – handling difficult conversations
  •  Listening to the Chooser & Educator in me
  •  Self-forgiveness process & uncovering core-beliefs
  •  Naturalising NVC/ Street Giraffe

*Please note that having attended a basic introductory training in NVC or Foundation course is  a prerequisite for registering for this module. We also recommend completing module 1 first, although it is possible to complete them in reverse order.

Nicholas Burnand is a CNVC certified Nonviolent Communication trainer. He offers coaching, therapy, mediation, workshops and programs in organisations and is dedicated to sharing, and living Nonviolent Communication and mindfullness practices. Having travelled through and lived in 20 different countries, he enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.

Nic currently works as a workshop facilitator with Language that works, Compassionate Self and Team Blabla in Belgium. He is also a board member of Stichting Transformi, an organisation that is forming partnerships to facilitate bringing NVC from resource rich to resource poor areas in the world. Nic has trained with various NVC trainers, including participation in the 2-year Euro Life program led by Robert Gonzales. He first came into contact with NVC in 2009 and was particularly drawn to Nonviolent Communication as a way of being in life that contributes to Peace, Authenticity and Connection.
